Recent Work // Simply Homegrown

Simply Homegrown was such a fun project to work on this summer.

I’ve known Nichole for a number of years, she actually was an antique vendor in my antique mall when I had one back in 2013, and I’ve picked some pretty cool antiques from her farm in the past.

When she reached out this time, she was looking for branding for her farm. She travels to the Chicago area to do markets and shows, so she needed some killer branding to help her booth design.

We had fun working together on the color palette inspired by barn red and vintage green (think old-school chalkboards!), and we created elements that represented all areas of her business.

Such a great feel to this one. From the old truck parked in their front yard to chickens and veggies, so many little pieces of her business were represented in her new branding.

In addition to her branding elements, we worked and some signage for her booth displays, a pattern for different marketing pieces and some business card designs – all of which turned out so perfectly for their garden adventure.

I love how it turned out for them.

Branding should be an extension of how you feel about your business. It should be personal and evoke emotions inside of you. That’s my goal with each branding client I take on. I want it to feel like YOU.
