While I don’t get to the salon as often as I’d like, I’m a sucker for a cute cut and dye. Audi came to me earlier this year with a vision for a salon of her own in one of the most up and coming areas of the Quad Cities, I couldn’t wait to hear more.
And then during our first meeting she took me to the old building that would soon house her dream and I was hooked.
She was setting up shop in an old building along the Mississippi that also held an amazing music venue, a brewery and she had big dreams for the space.
We worked together on her moodboard and how she wanted the brand to feel, and I got to have some fun with new fonts and creating some custom typework that filled my creative cup.
The cherry on the top of this branding suite is that this week I went in and visited Audi in the newly launched Revival Mane and fell in love with the space. Everything about it was well thought out, the natural light coming from the original skylights in the ceiling and the exposed beams – it all just worked.
Some fun ideas for the future in this space came to mind and I can’t wait to unravel all of that. If I could own a design studio right now, I’d set up shop in that building right alongside her.
Here’s a sneak of her space!
If you’re in need of a new salon and you’re local (or not!) Revival Mane is where it’s at.
