Recent Work // A Well Worn Story

Oct 14, 2021

Today I’m so excited to share some work I’ve done for a dear friend of mine, Morgann from A Well Worn Story.

Way back when, there was an occasional shop in Geneseo, Illinois that I went to every Thursday or Friday it was open. Mabel was owned by Ashley Ebert, and she was the cutest little shop owner with such a good eye for fashion AND vintage, which she pulled together so well in her little shop.

One Thursday, there was another maker there – a girl named Morgann who made leather goods. I overheard them talking about vintage campers and bonfires and road trips and I KNEW I had to introduce myself – these were my kind of people.

I’m so thankful I did, because that intro blossomed into such a wonderful friendship and it was the beginning of my journey to find other creatives like me. And now Morgann and Ash are treasured friends.

Morgann’s journey with A Well Worn Story has taken her down some amazing paths, and most recently a path to a brick and mortar store in New Glarus, Wisconsin.

With her new adventure, she needed some new graphics so we’ve been working together on some fun stuff.

First up, a freshened-up look! We worked on a few new logo designs for her.

We went with a vintage and adventure inspired look that feels so good in her new store.

We also worked on some custom postcards featuring some of her favorite places in Wisconsin. She had them printed and sends them out with her bag orders and sells them in her shop.

We also worked on some window graphics for her new shop and I love how they turned out!

There is so much goodness in her shop, I think I’m close to having one of everything she makes by now.

Make sure you check out Morgann’s website + Instagram – you’ll be inspired to adventure and spend some time in Wisconsin.

And if you’re in Southern Wisconsin anytime soon, make sure you stop into her new shop in New Glarus – such a beautiful place. So proud of this friend of mine!
