Recent Work // The Daisy Lady

Combining passions into one is one of my favorite things to do (which is why I LOVE working with adventurous and passionate creatives). When Jess from Shared Light reached out to me about branding her new adventure of opening a greenhouse, I was ALL IN.

We started with a really earthy, organic moodboard to give us a direction for what we wanted the logo to look like.

Once the moodboard was approved, I dove into the logo design – seriously on fire with ideas. I sent her the brand concept and the only thing we did was a quick color change. We were clearly on the same page vision-wise!

I kept the main logo pretty clean and simple. I chose this particular font because Jess loves plants with architectural shapes, and this font felt the same – classic with unique serifs that made it the perfect choice. Paired with the clean san serif font, the final design was fresh yet classic feeling.

The alternative logos followed suite with just some layout changes for different application – she recently bought a horse trailer for pop up shows and I knew she was going to need some different design layouts. I love how these turned out.

And I love including circular designs for social media profiles and to add to a corner of a photo on marketing pieces, so those were a must for The Daisy Lady. I also sent her some colored circles with plants in the center that she could use on her Instagram story highlight colors. These completed her logo suite and gave her lots of elements to use!

Here is her branding in action! Just Jess, holding a rubber plant beauty with her color palette and logo. Doesn’t it all just fit together?

I also had the pleasure of seeing Jess in action last weekend at a pop up show! I grabbed myself some sunflowers and drooled over all of her plants and plant babies. Her booth was the star of the show and it was so fun to see her passions and vision come to life.

Check The Daisy Lady out on Instagram for so much plant lady goodness!
